All About Sugar

Have you ever heard someone say they are cutting out sugar? 

That’s impossible to do if you’re going to still eat fruit and vegetables.

But what is possible, is reducing your sugar intake especially by avoiding it in “hidden” places.

The average American adult consumes 77 grams of sugar per day. The American Heart Assoc. recommends no more 25-35 grams of added sugar for adults & 12-25 grams for kids.

Why is sugar a problem? 
Hormonal imbalances
Weight gain
Acne
Cardiovascular issues
Insulin resistance
Depression
Fatty liver
