Food & Its Role In Hormone Function

Hormones – our food plays a part too in our hormonal health.

Vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, provide antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, fiber, fats, phytonutrients, and more that are beneficial to our hormonal health.

Getting enough NOURISHING foods in during the day can be hard. So years ago, I resorted to smoothies. The concept…. Just throw all the good stuff in there and drink.

Above are just SOME items I like to rotate through in my smoothies and a few fun tips about them. There are so many more tips about each food, so this is not a comprehensive list of items or of their benefits.

None of these smoothie favorites are used everyday. Mix around with these and have fun. And I get all my seeds at Costco.

TIP: steam your cauliflower before putting in a smoothie! So much better of a texture! And broccoli sprouts are easier than broccoli!

What do you like to add to your smoothies❓
