?Mother’s Day Gift Ideas?- Just Ingredient gift sets
I’ve never done a post about my own products. So…
Why did I choose to make my own products?
When healing from my depression, I realized food and beauty products could either be nourishing and healing to the body or cause issues like hormonal imbalance, inflammation, metal toxicities, and more.
So I began looking for beauty products that would nourish the largest organ of my body, my skin. I had a hard time finding products that were all organic and had all nourishing ingredients. It became a dream of mine to some day make my own. And here I am.
Here is why I’ve chosen some of the ingredients I use and their nourishing aspects:
-Is from the jojoba plant.
-Is full of vitamin Bs, vitamin E, and antioxidants. These antioxidants can help your skin fight oxidative stress caused by everyday exposure to pollutants.
-Is an anti-inflammatory which is great for skin repair, such as acne, eczema, rosacea, dryness.
-Has a tiny molecular structure and easily absorbed. This is so hydrating to the skin.
-Is made from the resin of the Boswellia tree.
-It has anti-inflammatory compounds in it called, Terpenes and boswellic acids. According to a review published in the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, frankincense oil reduces redness and skin irritation, while also producing a more even skin tone.
-It may also help reduce the appearance of scars and acne, be beneficial for fading of stretch marks, surgery scars, and for healing dry or cracked skin.
✨Sweet almond oil:
-Full of vitamin E and A, potassium, zinc and monounsaturated fatty acids. The fatty acids help heal chapped and irritated skin, which helps the deodorant not be irritating to the skin.
✨Organic essential oils:
– Full of vitamins and antioxidants
– Organic, so grown in different standards than non organic
