Replace: BHT and BHA. Add: Adaptogens

A health journey consists of removing some items from our diet/home and adding in other items. If you’re just beginning a health journey, start on day 1 or 2 of my posts, not this one 🙂

And remember the word organic means no artificial dyes, sweeteners, flavors, or preservatives. BHT and BHA are artificial preservatives.

REPLACE :BHT & BHA
1️⃣The International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies BHA as a possible human carcinogen.  The Department of Health and Human Services also lists it as “Reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen” (1)

2️⃣BHT is listed and has a “caution” label from the Center for Science in the Public Interest. 
Both BHT and BHA are ” unnecessary or is easily replaced by safe substitutes”(2)

ADD IN – Adaptogens
1️⃣They affect the body at the molecular level.

2️⃣They also exhibit a stress-protective effect on the body, which is so important.

3️⃣Benefits can include helping with:
balancing hormones, mood, energy, mind clarity, immune support, digestion, inflammation, and more (3)
