Top Four Tasks to be “Whole” & “To Heal”

By January 16, 2020No Comments

Being on a health journey is making better choices each day to help your body to be whole and to heal from the daily stresses and toxins of our environment.

Do the things you do each day help your body to be whole and to heal❓
1️⃣Do you exercise to sweat? Sweating is one of the best ways to detox. Detox helps our body heal.
2️⃣Do you eat fruits and veggies each day? The fiber, antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins, and minerals help multiple aspects (so many I couldn’t list here)of our body to heal.
3️⃣Do you drink plenty of filtered water? Water helps our kidneys best function. It helps fights stress. It gives us energy. This helps us to heal and be whole.
4️⃣Do you get outside and get vit d? Vit d helps our immune system, our mood, lowers our risk of osteoporosis, and can help prevent some cancers. Vit d helps us to heal (1).
This list could go on and on of ways our food or surroundings can help us heal.

Or do the things you do each day NOT help your body to be whole and heal❓
1️⃣Do you eat too many processed foods with high fructose corn syrup? The HFCS can contribute to insulin resistance, obesity, liver disorders, diabetes and more.(2)
2️⃣Do you eat too many processed foods with hydrogenated oils or trans fat? These can contribute to higher cholesterol, heart health issues, and consuming too many omega 6s. Too many omega 6s in comparison to your omega 3s contributes to inflammation.(3)
3️⃣Do you eat a lot of “diet” foods with artificial sweeteners? These can contribute to poor gut health and loss of good bacteria.(4)
4️⃣Do you not get enough sleep? Not enough sleep can contribute to high blood pressure, poor heart health, diabetes, obesity, depression, and more.(5)

Make little choices each day that can help you to be healthy (or whole). What are some challenges and goals you are striving to make in your own life to be healthier and whole? Tell me in the comments below!
