The Just Ingredients Difference

Unlike most magnesium supplements on the market that only contain one source of magnesium, the Just Ingredients Magnesium Complex Supplement includes five different forms of magnesium—Magnesium Carbonate (from Aquamin® MgAg Sea Minerals), Dimagnesium Malate, Magnesium Orotate, Magnesium Taurinate, and Magnesium Bisglycinate.
Our magnesium can help with:
- Improving sleep
- Increasing energy
- Improving mood
- Improving bone health
- Lowering inflammation
- Balancing hormones
- Lowering blood pressure
- The immune system
- Relieving constipation
- Relieving period pain
- And much more
If you experience:
- Muscle spasms and cramping
- Anxiety and depression
- Hormone imbalances
- High blood pressure/hypertension
- Low energy
- Poor bone health
- Sleep problems
- Heavy bleeding, moodiness, cramps
Then you may benefit from Magnesium supplementation.*
Many Magnesium supplements on the market contain Magnesium Oxide. Magnesium Oxide has a low absorption rate and has strong laxative effects. If you have normal bowel movements and you use magnesium oxide it could cause diarrhea.
Our magnesium complex is formulated with magnesium-containing ingredients that are more absorbable/bioavailable, making it an ideal magnesium supplement.*
At Just Ingredients, we believe in continuing education and relying on science-backed approaches to our products. That’s why we have worked with Josh Redd on our supplement line. As a functional medical practitioner, Josh has over a decade of post-graduate education with a focus on treating Hashimoto’s, autoimmune, and brain-related conditions using science-backed strategies.
Our quality assurance process for our nutritional and supplement products begins with collecting, from our suppliers, Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for our ingredients. We then retest the final product blend. We share our COAs because we believe the results are worth sharing.

Basically, if you are breathing, you could benefit from magnesium supplementation. Around half of the adults in the US do not consume enough magnesium a day. This can be due to the fact that soil is often depleted in magnesium making it harder to get it in your foods, you aren’t consuming magnesium rich foods, you are taking certain medications that can affect magnesium absorption or retention, or have other health issues that can contribute to magnesium deficiency. Supplementing with magnesium can help you get the adequate amount of magnesium a day.
We recommend starting with 1 capsule to assess tolerance and working up to 2 capsules. You can also take 1 capsule 2 times a day.
We recommend taking magnesium in the evening.
We recommend consulting with your doctor before starting on this supplement while pregnant or breastfeeding.
There are 60 capsules in a bottle.
Our magnesium contains all of the most absorbable forms of magnesium. We didn't include magnesium citrate because its absorbability rate is about 5% and it can cause intestinal discomfort in some people, and we didn't include magnesium oxide because of its laxative effects and low absorbability rate.
Yes, you can take ours together, but we do recommend talking to your doctor before starting a new supplement. We also recommend taking magnesium at night and the rest of our supplements in the morning.
