Made From Hydroxyapatite

Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring form of calcium and a great alternative to fluoride. It has been clinically proven to strengthen, protect, and rebuild teeth, reduce gum disease, and improve health. It also can prevent demineralization, stop the progression of decay in adult and baby teeth, decrease sensitivity, and remineralize early tooth decay. Plus it has whitening power, without the damaging effects of commercial whitening products.

A Better Choice Than Toothpaste

Many toothpastes on the market today contain glycerin. Glycerin works to inhabit hydroxyapatite, which is a mineral that makes up 90-95% of tooth’s enamel. This is because the glycerin can coat the teeth and physically block them from absorbing as much hydroxyapatite for remineralization. So tooth products that include both glycerin and hydroxyapatite will be less effective.

Our formula is made with hydroxyapatite and without glycerin to help the teeth absorb as much as possible for maximized remineralization benefits.

Replace Your Everyday Toothpaste

Tooth powder is meant to replace your everyday toothpaste and is used by dipping a wet toothbrush into the jar to pick up a pea-sized amount of powder – after that, simply brush as normal and avoid rinsing to allow the hydroxyapatite to sit on the teeth for remineralization. Our tooth powder does not contain foaming agents like sulfates, so you won’t feel it foam in your mouth like you may be used to with traditional toothpastes.

FAQ's

Have more questions? Let us know!

Yes! It is meant to be used in place of a traditional toothpaste.

It all depends on the ingredients. Tooth paste is commonly made using glycerin which helps turn the paste into a paste. However, studies are showing that toothpastes that contain hydroxyapatite may not be as effective when glycerin is an ingredient. This is because the glycerin can coat the teeth and physically block them from absorbing as much hydroxyapatite for remineralization.

We chose to create a tooth powder with hydroxyapatite to help the teeth absorb as much as possible for maximized remineralization benefits.

Yes, our tooth powders are safe for children! We recommend either the Kids Tooth Powder (citrus) or the Remineralizing Tooth Powder (mint). Both versions are safe for kids and can be swallowed, we just know that littles don’t always love minty toothpaste so we made a citrus version for them.

If your child is over two years of age and able to spit out their regular toothpaste, then the Whitening Remineralizing Tooth Powder (mint) is safe for them to use.

A jar of tooth powder can last a single person 2 months with twice-daily brushing.

That’s up to you! It’s very similar to sharing a tube of toothpaste as your wet toothbrush picks up what it touches. But if you prefer not to share, get each person their own jar!

Alternatively, you can use a UV toothbrush sanitizer before dipping your toothbrush in the jar to reduce the spread of bacteria.

The tooth powder can help with gum health, but receding gums generally require a skin graft.
